These JOZA AI Terms of Use (“JOZA Terms”) govern your access to and use of JOZA, the automated artificial-intelligence fragrance advisor made available through the AZ Perfumes website at https://azperfumes.com and any related pages, interfaces, or services where JOZA is provided.

JOZA is operated by AZ Perfumes (“AZ Perfumes,” “AZ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Monroe, Louisiana.

By opening, accessing, or using JOZA, you agree to these JOZA Terms. If you do not agree, do not use JOZA.

These JOZA Terms supplement the general AZ Perfumes Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy. If these JOZA Terms conflict with the general Terms of Service regarding the operation or use of JOZA, these JOZA Terms control. The general Terms of Service continue to govern purchases, payments, shipping, returns, and other use of the AZ Perfumes website.

1. About JOZA

JOZA is an automated, artificial-intelligence-powered fragrance discovery and shopping tool. You are interacting with an AI system, not a human representative.

JOZA may help users:

• Discover fragrances based on notes, accords, mood, season, occasion, style, or other preferences.

• Refine product recommendations over multiple messages.

• Find AZ Perfumes products inspired by or similar in character to known fragrances.

• Compare products and previously displayed recommendations.

• Obtain general fragrance education and application suggestions.

• Find information about AZ Perfumes products and store policies.

• Select potential gifts based on information supplied by the user.

JOZA is intended to assist with product discovery. It does not replace your own judgment, review of the applicable product page, or communication with AZ Perfumes customer support when confirmation is important.

2. AI-Generated Responses

JOZA uses artificial-intelligence technology and automated retrieval systems to generate responses.

Although JOZA is designed to use information from the AZ Perfumes catalog and approved fragrance information, AI-generated responses may occasionally:

• Be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misunderstood.

• Misinterpret your request or preferences.

• Omit relevant products or information.

• Describe subjective fragrance characteristics differently from how you experience them.

• Present information that differs from the current product page.

• Provide recommendations that are not suitable for your individual preferences or circumstances.

You must independently review product descriptions, ingredients where available, bottle size, price, availability, shipping information, and other important details before purchasing or using a product.

When information provided by JOZA conflicts with the applicable product page, checkout page, or written confirmation from AZ Perfumes customer support, the product page, checkout page, or written confirmation controls.

3. Subjective Nature of Fragrance Recommendations

Fragrance perception is personal and can vary based on skin chemistry, environment, weather, application method, personal sensitivity, and individual preference.

Descriptions such as the following are generally subjective estimates rather than guarantees:

• Strong or subtle.

• Masculine, feminine, or unisex.

• Youthful or mature.

• Fresh, dark, elegant, sensual, or professional.

• Appropriate for a particular occasion.

• Similar to another fragrance.

• Long-lasting.

• High projection or sillage.

• Suitable for a particular season.

• A “best” or “closest” recommendation.

A JOZA recommendation does not guarantee that you will like a fragrance or experience a particular smell, performance, projection, or duration.

4. Product Information, Prices, and Availability

Product prices, availability, bottle sizes, descriptions, promotions, and other catalog information may change without notice.

JOZA does not:

• Reserve inventory.

• Guarantee that a product remains in stock.

• Guarantee a displayed or discussed price.

• Process payments independently.

• Complete or modify an order unless AZ Perfumes expressly introduces that functionality.

• Guarantee shipping or delivery dates.

• Provide authoritative order-tracking information unless the information is retrieved directly from an authorized order system.

The price and availability displayed at checkout govern a purchase.

All purchases are subject to the general AZ Perfumes Terms of Service and applicable Shipping, Return, and Refund Policies.

5. No Medical or Safety Advice

JOZA provides general fragrance and shopping information only. JOZA does not provide medical, dermatological, toxicological, or other professional healthcare advice.

JOZA cannot determine whether a fragrance or ingredient is safe or appropriate for you. JOZA cannot diagnose or treat:

• Allergies.

• Asthma.

• Migraines.

• Skin conditions.

• Respiratory conditions.

• Chemical sensitivities.

• Pregnancy-related concerns.

• Any other medical condition.

Do not rely on JOZA to determine that a product is hypoallergenic, non-irritating, migraine-safe, asthma-safe, pregnancy-safe, or otherwise medically safe.

Review the product label and available ingredient information before use. Conduct an appropriate patch test when suitable. Discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy, or medical concerns.

For a medical emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate medical professional. JOZA is not an emergency service.

6. Sensitive and Personal Information

Do not submit unnecessary sensitive or confidential information through JOZA.

In particular, do not enter:

• Passwords.

• Authentication codes.

• Full payment-card numbers.

• Bank-account information.

• Social Security or national-identification numbers.

• Medical records.

• Health diagnoses.

• Exact private addresses unless specifically required through an authorized checkout process.

• Private information about another person without their permission.

• Trade secrets or confidential business information.

JOZA is not intended to receive or store payment credentials. Payments should be completed only through the authorized AZ Perfumes checkout interface.

Information submitted through JOZA is handled as described in the AZ Perfumes Privacy Policy and any privacy notice displayed within the JOZA interface.

7. Privacy

Your use of JOZA is subject to the AZ Perfumes Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these JOZA Terms by reference.

The Privacy Policy should be reviewed before you use JOZA. It explains, among other matters:

• What information may be collected through JOZA.

• Why the information is processed.

• How conversation history may be stored.

• The applicable retention period.

• The categories of service providers that may process information.

• Whether and how information may be used to maintain, secure, evaluate, or improve JOZA.

• The privacy rights that may be available to you.

• How to submit a privacy request.

Do not use JOZA if you do not agree with the applicable privacy practices.

8. Eligibility and Children

JOZA is a general-audience retail service and is not designed or directed toward children under 13 years of age.

You may not use JOZA if you are under 13.

If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority where you live, you may use JOZA only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of JOZA and any purchases made through AZ Perfumes.

If we learn that personal information was collected through JOZA from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring deletion, we may delete the information and restrict access to the service.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use JOZA only for lawful, personal, and legitimate shopping, education, or fragrance-discovery purposes.

You may not use or attempt to use JOZA to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

• Submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or abusive content.

• Exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm a child.

• Encourage violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or dangerous conduct.

• Impersonate another person or falsely represent your identity or authority.

• Commit fraud or facilitate a fraudulent transaction.

• Submit malware, malicious code, destructive instructions, or harmful links.

• Disrupt, overload, damage, or interfere with JOZA, the website, or related systems.

• Bypass rate limits, access controls, safety protections, or technical restrictions.

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of JOZA or related infrastructure without written authorization.

• Gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, prompts, databases, credentials, or non-public information.

• Extract, reveal, or reconstruct JOZA's system prompts, hidden instructions, ranking methods, security rules, or internal configurations.

• Use prompt injection, indirect prompt injection, or similar methods to cause unauthorized behavior or disclosure.

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, or systematically copy JOZA content, recommendations, product data, or conversation outputs without written permission.

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the underlying source code, algorithms, taxonomies, or models, except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

• Build or train a competing product, model, dataset, or recommendation service using JOZA, its outputs, or non-public AZ Perfumes information.

• Use automated systems to send unusually high volumes of requests.

• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices.

• Use JOZA outputs to create deceptive reviews, testimonials, endorsements, or product claims.

• Use JOZA in a manner that could expose AZ Perfumes or another person to liability or reputational harm.

We may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with lawful requests from public authorities.

10. Intellectual Property

JOZA and its related materials are owned by or licensed to AZ Perfumes and are protected by applicable intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.

Protected materials may include:

• Software and source code.

• Interface designs.

• Text and visual content.

• Taxonomies and classification systems.

• Vibe and occasion mappings.

• Recommendation structures.

• Product-matching methods.

• Ranking and role-selection logic.

• Prompt designs and instructions.

• Curated fragrance profiles.

• Internal evaluations.

• Databases and database organization.

• Documentation.

• Testing and certification materials.

• The JOZA name, logo, and branding.

Except for the limited right to use JOZA under these JOZA Terms, no right, title, or interest in JOZA or any related intellectual property is transferred to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, publicly display, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from JOZA or its protected materials without prior written permission.

11. Limited Permission to Use JOZA

Subject to these JOZA Terms, AZ Perfumes grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable permission to access and use JOZA for lawful personal shopping and fragrance-discovery purposes.

This permission does not authorize commercial use, resale, redistribution, scraping, competing-service development, or automated extraction.

AZ Perfumes may revoke this permission at any time if you violate these JOZA Terms or misuse the service.

12. User Messages and Content

You retain any rights you may have in original content that you submit through JOZA.

You grant AZ Perfumes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, and analyze your submitted content only as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide JOZA.

• Maintain conversation continuity.

• Respond to your requests.

• Operate and secure the service.

• Detect fraud, abuse, or technical failures.

• Evaluate service quality.

• Comply with legal obligations.

• Exercise other uses disclosed in the Privacy Policy or presented to you at the time of collection.

This license ends when the applicable content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup cycles, de-identified records, and retention required by law.

Nothing in these JOZA Terms authorizes AZ Perfumes to use identifiable private conversations to train a general-purpose AI model unless that use is clearly disclosed in the Privacy Policy or separately presented to you as required by applicable law.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit any content you provide and that your content does not violate these JOZA Terms or another person's rights.

13. Feedback

You may voluntarily provide suggestions, corrections, ratings, ideas, or other feedback concerning JOZA.

You grant AZ Perfumes a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback into its products and services without compensation or attribution to you.

This section does not authorize the public disclosure of personal information contained in your feedback except as permitted by the Privacy Policy.

14. Third-Party Fragrance Names and Trademarks

JOZA may reference third-party fragrance names, brands, or trademarks to identify fragrance preferences, explain comparisons, or help users locate products with a similar olfactory character.

All third-party trademarks, fragrance names, logos, and brand names belong to their respective owners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• AZ Perfumes is not affiliated with the referenced trademark owner.

• AZ Perfumes is not sponsored, authorized, or endorsed by the referenced trademark owner.

• A reference to a fragrance is used only for identification, comparison, or descriptive purposes.

• An AZ Perfumes product is not represented as being manufactured by the referenced brand.

• Similarity or “inspired by” language does not mean that products are identical.

You may not use JOZA outputs to falsely suggest affiliation, authorization, endorsement, or common ownership.

15. Third-Party Services

JOZA may rely on third-party infrastructure, artificial-intelligence providers, hosting services, search services, analytics tools, security services, and other technology providers.

AZ Perfumes does not control every aspect of third-party services. Service interruptions, errors, or changes made by a third-party provider may affect JOZA.

Your use of third-party websites or services linked through JOZA may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. AZ Perfumes is not responsible for third-party websites or services that it does not own or control.

16. Alpha, Beta, and Experimental Features

JOZA or portions of JOZA may be identified as alpha, beta, preview, experimental, or under development.

Such features may:

• Contain errors.

• Change without notice.

• Be incomplete.

• Perform inconsistently.

• Become temporarily unavailable.

• Be removed or replaced.

• Lose conversation history or settings.

You use experimental features at your own risk. An alpha or beta label does not remove any consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

17. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue all or part of JOZA at any time.

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability.

• Error-free operation.

• Retention of every conversation.

• Compatibility with every browser or device.

• That every feature will remain available.

• That JOZA will answer every question.

• That a specific product will be recommended.

• That stored preferences will remain available indefinitely.

We may perform maintenance or introduce usage limits when reasonably necessary.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to JOZA if we reasonably believe that:

• You violated these JOZA Terms.

• Your activity creates a security or legal risk.

• You attempted unauthorized access or data extraction.

• Your use interferes with another user or the service.

• Suspension is required by law.

• Continuing to provide access could harm AZ Perfumes, its users, or a third party.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the violation. We are not required to provide advance notice where immediate action is necessary to protect users, systems, legal rights, or security.

You may stop using JOZA at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, feedback, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions — will survive.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JOZA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AZ PERFUMES DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:

• MERCHANTABILITY.

• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

• TITLE.

• NON-INFRINGEMENT.

• ACCURACY.

• AVAILABILITY.

• QUIET ENJOYMENT.

• COURSE OF DEALING.

• USAGE OF TRADE.

AZ PERFUMES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• JOZA WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.

• JOZA WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

• A RECOMMENDED PRODUCT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR YOU.

• A PRODUCT WILL SMELL, PERFORM, OR LAST AS DESCRIBED.

• JOZA WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE.

• DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

• JOZA OUTPUTS WILL NOT INFRINGE THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS WHEN USED OUTSIDE THEIR INTENDED CONTEXT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AZ PERFUMES AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO JOZA.

This includes, without limitation:

• Loss of profits or revenue.

• Loss of business opportunities.

• Loss of goodwill.

• Loss or corruption of data.

• Cost of substitute services.

• Purchases made in reliance on a recommendation.

• Dissatisfaction with a fragrance.

• Business interruption.

• Unauthorized access caused by conduct outside AZ Perfumes's reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of AZ Perfumes arising from or relating to JOZA will not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you directly paid to access JOZA during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or

• One hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any liability expressly protected by applicable consumer law.

The limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if AZ Perfumes was advised that damages were possible.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AZ Perfumes and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from:

• Your unlawful misuse of JOZA.

• Your violation of these JOZA Terms.

• Your infringement of another person's rights.

• Content you submit through JOZA.

• Your use of JOZA outputs in a deceptive, unlawful, or unauthorized manner.

• Your attempt to access protected systems, prompts, data, or infrastructure.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from AZ Perfumes's own unlawful conduct.

22. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these JOZA Terms limits a right or remedy that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

If applicable law gives you mandatory rights that conflict with these JOZA Terms, those mandatory rights control.

23. Governing Law

These JOZA Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

This governing-law provision does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your place of residence where those protections cannot lawfully be waived.

24. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim relating specifically to JOZA, you and AZ Perfumes agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

You may send a written notice containing:

• Your full name.

• Your contact information.

• A description of the dispute.

• The date or approximate date of the relevant interaction.

• The resolution you are requesting.

AZ Perfumes may send notices to the email address you provided in connection with your account, order, or communication.

The parties will attempt to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days after receipt of a complete notice before initiating formal proceedings, unless immediate relief is necessary or the applicable limitations period would expire.

25. Courts and Venue

Subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws, any legal proceeding arising from or relating to these JOZA Terms that is not resolved informally must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

You and AZ Perfumes consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary or emergency injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, confidential information, systems, or security.

26. Changes to These JOZA Terms

We may update these JOZA Terms to reflect:

• Changes to JOZA.

• New features.

• Changes in business operations.

• Changes in third-party services.

• Security requirements.

• Legal or regulatory developments.

The updated version will state a revised “Last Updated” date.

If a change materially affects your rights or the way identifiable information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.

Changes apply prospectively from their effective date. We will not retroactively expand our rights to use previously collected identifiable conversation data in a materially different way without providing the notice or consent required by applicable law.

Continued use of JOZA after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where the law requires another form of consent.

27. Electronic Communications

You agree that notices and communications concerning JOZA may be provided electronically, including through:

• The JOZA interface.

• The AZ Perfumes website.

• Email.

• Your account.

• A notice linked within the service.

Electronic notices satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing to the extent permitted by law.

28. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these JOZA Terms without our prior written consent.

AZ Perfumes may assign these JOZA Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, sale of assets, or transfer of the JOZA or AZ Perfumes business, subject to applicable law and the commitments in the Privacy Policy.

29. Severability

If any provision of these JOZA Terms is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

30. No Waiver

Failure by AZ Perfumes to enforce a provision of these JOZA Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only if it is in writing and signed by an authorized representative of AZ Perfumes.

31. Entire Agreement

These JOZA Terms, together with the documents incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and AZ Perfumes concerning your use of JOZA.

They supersede previous or contemporaneous communications concerning JOZA, but do not replace the separate terms governing product purchases and general website use.
